Although the parking fees were relatively minor at 20 dirhams per night, it was an unexpected expense that we had to factor into our budget.

We loved the convenience of the double room available with the amenities. The location was unbeatable and magnificent - only a short distance to everywhere we wanted to go.

The room was great-sized and brand-new, with a safe, cable channels and a mini fridge bar. The bed was great and the bathroom - clean. The location was perfect and nice, within walking distance of Medersa Bouanania Seminary. The staff and the host were all amazingly helpful.

The tranquil oasis is a perfect escape. Namir and his team go above and beyond.

The street noise occasionally disrupts the serene atmosphere, making it harder to fully unwind after a day of exploration.

Everything was perfectly fine, and it had great wi-fi. My room was beautifully decorated and had a comfortable bed. The location was perfect and peaceful, just off the main sightseeing spots, everything, including Borj Nord and the Medina and the fountain which is where a lot of tours begin.

The room was brand-new, moreover big size with all the amenities. Everyone was helpful and patient here and we felt very comfortable...

I cannot say enough good things about this place! The warm welcome with tea and pastries set the perfect tone. My room was beautifully simple and had a recently renovated bathroom. Plus, the quiet ambiance.

We started our days with delicious fresh breakfast and enjoyed exploring quiet streets. We had an adventure horse riding just outside the city, and we also visited a beautiful old palace nearby. The staff was super friendly.

We had issues with our room's bathroom setup. Accessing it involved climbing some stairs, a bit inconvenient at night.

An unexpected culinary delight

Our time at Dar D'Or was good. Every morning began with a colorful breakfast spread that featured fresh fruit and homemade jams. The warm atmosphere seemed like home, thanks to the attentive staff, especially Namir, whose hospitality shone through. He arranged an enriching guided tour through the Medina with Mohamed, filled with fascinating cultural insights. Dinner, prepared by Namir's wife, was consistently excellent, showcasing authentic Moroccan cuisine each night. We even enjoyed a serene moment in the courtyard-perfect for unwinding after exploring the bustling city.

The parking arrangements were somewhat complicated, which could be inconvenient for those with rental cars. Namir was always available to assist with directions, so it lessened the frustration.

Just a prime choice for a city trip in Fes with all in all great value for money. The staff were friendly and the breakfasts were delicious. Be aware of the parking fee beforehand.

The guesthouse is a hidden gem with a peaceful ambiance. We enjoyed exploring the local area and even had some good fresh air while adventuring with the kids. The spacious rooms were perfect for our family, ensuring everyone was comfortable.

In my wife's opinion, a children's play area would be great.
